Liquid filter starter for optimal water quality

KENJI KOI Filter Starter helps new filters to be quickly broken in and reactivates existing filters after autumn. The nitrifying bacteria it contains promote the breakdown of ammonium and nitrite, and the denitrifying bacteria accelerate the breakdown of organic matter such as leaves, food residues, and faeces. KENJI KOI Filter Starter contains over 100 million live germs per ml, which provide quick relief for poor water quality.

Regular use of the filter starter ensures a permanent colonization of bacteria. The filter starter should be used especially after the use of medication or after cleaning.

Dosage of KENJI KOI Filter Starter

In spring: 25ml per 1,000 liters of pond water daily for 8 days

After heavy rainfall and water changes: once 25ml per 1,000 liters of pond water

For maintenance / support: once a week 15ml per 1,000 liters of pond water

Application of Filter Starter

Add directly to the filter, if available, then into the filter or Japan mats. Alternatively, the filter starter can also be poured directly into the pond.

Safety instructions: Keep out of reach of children. Once the product has been opened, store it in a cool, dark place. Protect from heat and sunlight. Note: The bacteria are neither toxic nor harmful to fish, plants, and humans. Accidental overdosing does not cause any damage.
